To know what Power is we must also know what Power is not. There is only a fine line between what power is in relation to what power is not. They are extreme opposites on the continuum only varying by degree. Our perception is what determines how we view our relationship to power.
We must never overestimate our ability to control others as we must never underestimate our ability to control ourselves. Power is not controlling others; instead it is taking control of our own mind, thoughts, feelings and actions. It is helpful to view our consciousness as the center of the spider web with the web sending out the vibrations of our thoughts and actions to those around us. What we attract will be a reflection or consequence of what we sent out. In order to maintain authentic power it is imperative to stay mindful of our thoughts and stay true to those beliefs, thoughts and feelings.
What is it that you are thinking today??????

HI Angela - great idea to start this blog site. At work now, so I don't have lots of time to write.. but your above statement "Power is not controlling others; instead it is taking control of our own mind, thoughts, feelings and actions." really resonated with me. Something that I know but frequently forget. Thanks for bringing this idea back into my awareness. All the best, Mark
