When where we are is so far away from where we want to go, What do we do in the meantime?
In the meantime we surround ourselves with things that will bring us power, raise the vibration of our thoughts and take action toward the vision while detaching from the outcome. Learning to accept and enjoy the present moment is the beginning of becoming who we need to become to achieve our deepest dreams. Take the time to objectively observe your thoughts, convert negative thoughts into their positive counterparts and develop a sense of faith, belief and expectation that all the things you aspire to are already on their way. What are the thoughts, people and activities that make you smile. Those are the things that need to surround you. Listen to music that makes you dance, take a walk in nature, spend time with a pet or just sit quietly with yourself feeling the beauty within radiate out like a beautiful rainbow after a storm. Continue to take action everyday toward your dream and know that is enough. Enjoy the ride with it's challenges and rewards, this is all we have, the present moment. Enjoy this day to the fullest! Create magic and miracles with positive attitude, gratitude, acceptance and focus. What magic do you have planned for your wild and crazy life? http://www.destination-empowerrment.com/

Choose Detachment
Choose Detachment
During this Holiday season when we are confronted with negativity, hurtful confrontations and anger let's choose detachment. The energy directed toward us in hurtful confrontations can leave us feeling drained, confused and slimed. It is not necessary to immediately go to the place of "what did I do to deserve this?" "What can I do to make this person less angry?" There is only one thing you can do, Focus on yourself.
Emotional attacks are usually a way for the attacker to redirect their own self dissatisfaction and uncomfortable feelings away from themselves.
Learning to detach in these circumstance can sheild you from an attack.
Techniques to detach:
1. Do not take the attack personally
2. Understand that thier lashing out at you is just a need for them to vent their emotions
3.Take a moment to breathe deeply
4. Remind yourself you did not do anything wrong
5. Remind yourself that you are not responsible for others feelings
6. Do not underestimate your ability to take control of your own response in the situation.
7. If you feel the pull into the negativity after applying these tools, do your best to open your heart with understanding, smile and perhaps they will let go of the defensiveness and yield to your compassion and openess.
Keep your energy field protected and clear through the art of detachment.
Have a beautiful day and enjoy the Holiday Season.
